Using several API endpoints with a single communication service

Hi,

 

Is there a way to avoid creating multiple communication services when dealing with many API endpoints?

 

I'm trying to create a system where the user can connect to several web services using the same API and is able to easily add and remove endpoints for this API without going through the communication service/scenario/agreement process.

 

There is obviously no way to have a communication service with an empty endpoint URL (this would defeat the purpose of this object), but I'm wondering if there's maybe a way to override this URL?

Email Campaign Execution with customer extension fields

Hi,

 

I have a requirement when the email campaign is sending out, some of the individual customer's extension fields would be populated to the email.

Is it possible? If yes, how to do that?

How to do validation on click of MashUp.

Hi Experts,

          I have a requirement  as below

 

        - Add a link to some legacy system(web application)  in one of the C4C screens  ( may be oportunity Overview)

        - upon click of this link , I need to do certain validation on C4C before redirecting to the traget legacy url.

 

My question is- Is the second requirement possible to accomplish?

        the validation may be after the click of the link , I might have to interact with SAP ECc and get some information , depending on this information I have to redirect to the target Legacy URL or need to show user some  alert to user and should not allow to redirect.

How to pass a node to reuse library.

Dear Experts,

 

I have a custom bo with child node in it .I use this custom BO in sales order extension .To check one functionality ,I need to loop through each node item .Since this needs to be checked in multiple places I created reuse library .

I need to pass the node to the library and loop though it .

 

How can achieve this.

Can not find the binding value path

Hello,

 

I have a problem to find the path of one field in UI designer. I am looking fpr Parent Line field value.

As you can see below, I have the value of my field, but I can not find it.

in my repository explorer, I go to CustomerQuote---> Root----> Item but I can not find the other path.

I have created an OWL from a custom BO. The point is when I export to excel, it's limited to 30 rows and I didn't see any option in UI designer to deal with it. Do you have already face this trouble?

C4C extended edition app: launch external app from C4C

Hello community,

 

We have a business case where sales people will have to use two apps in tablets on a daily basis for sales process.

One is C4C extended edition, the other one is custom made.

Is it possible to launch the custom made app from C4C app (ie with a button on C4C or PDI script)?

If yes, is it possible to also send parameters (ie launch google maps app with lat & long parameters from account BO)

We have created custom BO and customer is uploading records via XML file input .

We need to know How many record we can upload in XML file input at once.


1) What is limitation of XML file input upload file?

2) Is there any file size restriction?

We have created custom solution and we have successfully move to production system.

We need to do some changes so we have created patch version but when we go to Activate solution we can getting this error as shown below.

Hi Experts ,

I am using a DateTime Utility for getting the Calendar details used in service tickets , below is the screen shot of the code and the result I am getting.

Although it seems like that the date coming is correct but the calendar created has start time 1t 8:00 AM in the morning , which doesnt seems to be coming correct , can any one look into this and help me.

Best option to adapt ERP External Prices (Product Pricing) in Sales quotes.

Hi Experts,

 

I have this scenario, We finish a development in Sales Quotes using extension field in the Item Node for the products and calculation prices. (Without ERP connection and External price, custom development)

 

We need to develop a new scenario and takes from ERP/ECC and use Product pricing features(node that cannot be enhaced to ECC).

 

Which is the best option to consider the old Sales quote product prices with Extension field and the new Sales quote with the External Price.

 

I have two options.

 

1) I am considering to develop the new scenario an considering the old customer quotes making validation of the document types if the New sales quootes is from the ERP and the external pricing. By PDI Development and validation.

 

2) Migrating the old Sales quote using migration template to the new Scenario but the cost is to expensive because we need to consider the conditions and make que correct migration from the Extension fields to the External Pricing.

Is a data object "tag" accessible from the SDK?

Hello community!

 

I'm working on a prototype for SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer using the SAP Cloud Applications Studio. I've been using the SDK since 2009, so I don't ask this question "lightly".

 

End users can "tag" a data object with a keyword or phrase. Is there a way with the SDK to add my own tags using ABSL? I can't seem to find a good reference when searching SCN or browsing the "Repository Explorer".

Field Transformation on Address Query

Hello together,

 

how do I perform a field transformation on query result data?

 

I queried a BusinessPartner BO within the UI Designer and now I need to concatenate the three fields of the (the first if more possibilities available) FormattedPostalAddress into one single field within my DataModel. This combined address-String shall be displayed and used for further processing.

 

A further question: Is there a documentation on field transformations available?
